The statewide leader in the enhancement of end-of-life care through representation of and service to hospices.

The Hospice and Palliative Care Association (HPCAI), formerly the Iowa Hospice Organization, is a voluntary membership association representing 74 hospice agencies providing end-of-life care through 103 locations across Iowa. The association is governed by a board of directors and has been in existence since 1981. The HPCAI office is located at 100 East Grand Avenue in Downtown Des Moines.

  3. Build and strengthen relationships with palliative care
  4. Advocate and represent the interests of Iowa hospices at the state and federal levels
  5. Coalitions that support hospice
